ShootHold FIRE. Nothing fires on its own. Aim for heads for double damage. Glass shatters when you shoot it, which also opens a way in.
ShopsWalk in through the doors. Supplies turn up inside each wave.
DriveCars, a van and a pickup are parked around the square. Walk up and tap Drive. Steer with the left stick, run the infected down. Raider trucks can be stolen once they're empty.
HotelsSix hotels, each with a lobby, three floors and a roof: the Grand Northern, the Albany, the Midland, the Crown, Station Hotel and the Regent. Find the stairwell at the back of the lobby. The infected are already upstairs.
WoodStand at a shop door or window and tap Board up to nail a plank across it. Four planks max. The infected smash glass and tear boards down, so keep repairing. E and Q on a keyboard.
SquadAde, Priya, Marek and Tess follow you, into shops too, and shoot anything hostile. Anyone who goes down rejoins next wave. Blue on the map.
RaidersRival gangs, yellow on the map. They hunt you, fight each other and the infected, and run for medkits when hurt.
PackPlanks and medkits sit bottom left. Tap a medkit to heal. The bag icon opens your full inventory.
KeyboardWASD, click to lock the mouse, click to fire, R reload, G frag, E board, Q pry, H medkit, I inventory.
