Privacy
Horde Line is a game by the Horde Line studio. This page covers the website at hordeline.app and the iPhone and Android apps, id app.hordeline. Contact support@hordeline.app.
What stays on your device
Level, scrap, owned guns, settings, your best score and your ten best runs are stored on the device you are playing on. The browser version uses that browser's local storage. The app uses the phone's storage. They do not copy across by themselves.
Ads
The apps show ads through Google AdMob. Rewarded ads are optional: one revive per run, and a supply drop between waves. A full-screen ad can appear on every third game over, and never during a fight. Remove ads turns off that game-over ad and leaves the optional ones.
In the UK and the EU, Google's consent message appears before personalised ads. You can change that later from Privacy choices on the Loadout screen. On iPhone, Apple's tracking prompt appears once. If you say no, ads can still show, just not ones built from tracking.
Purchases
Remove ads and the scrap crate are sold by Apple and Google. RevenueCat checks whether this Apple or Google account already owns Remove ads, including after you move phones. Horde Line does not take card numbers. Prices are fixed amounts, not random rewards.
Leaderboards
Best score and highest wave can be sent to Game Center on iPhone and Google Play Games on Android, under the name you use on those services. The in-game list called My runs never leaves the device.
Clips
A last-stand clip is recorded on the device when you die. It is shared only if you tap Share. Saving it to Photos uses the permission you grant for that.
The website
hordeline.app does not run an account system. The news button opens your own email app to support@hordeline.app. The playable game in the browser keeps its save in local storage and does not show real ads until you are in the app.
Children
Horde Line is a horror game with violence. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
